Understanding CedarStone's Carbon Impact:
Embodied carbon refers to the total carbon footprint associated with the manufacturing and construction of a building.
Stored carbon refers to the total CO2 sequestered (stored) in the materials of the house.
A net negative carbon footprint: CedarStone homes sequester more carbon than is produced during fabrication (-9.98 metric tons of CO2)
Compared to standard construction, CedarStone homes save 26.33 tons of CO2 per home. That's equivalent to saving 65,356 miles driven by an average gasoline-powered vehicle.
